Yay for delayed reviews!!! I stayed here for 3 nights a few months ago while in the area for my brother's wedding. So freakin' quaint! The couple who own it are super cool (they dealt with us calling them at 11pm freaking out about getting lost in those country back roads). Arla makes delicious food (breakfast fritata = NOM NOM NOM NOM) and has a dry sense of humor- I love this in a person. Buzz is really laid back and works at the hardware store down the way. I would love to stay here and actually enjoy the house (instead of getting distracted by pesky things like meeting my new awesome family, eating lots of tasty grub, and driving down the Blue Ridge Highway), because the place is RELAXING. There's a nice sun room with comfy couches and a TV. Complimentary tea and coffee, etc. is always available (complete with endearing ceramic mugs). It's a straight shot to the downtown area that's perfect for meandering around. Seriously. You get all the perks of living in the country, but you can pretend that you're an eccentric old lady/sir living in the back of the house while your "servants" do all the upkeep and fix you yummy food.
